About Kellan Gleason

Early Life

Competitive Athletics

Golf has always been part of Kellan's life. From an early age, she enjoyed spending time on the course with family, practicing at the range, and playing whenever she had the opportunity.

Although she participated in multiple sports growing up, golf was the one constant. Even when it wasn't her primary competitive focus, she continued to play and steadily develop her game under the guidance of PGA Professional coaching. Years of being around the game have given her a strong understanding of course management, shot selection, and the mental side of competition; developing a golf IQ that complements her athletic ability. Those experiences provided a solid foundation and reinforced a genuine appreciation for the sport.

Competitive Athletics

Kellan has been a multi-sport athlete throughout her life, competing at a high level in gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, and golf. Each sport has played an important role in developing her athleticism, competitiveness, discipline, and mental toughness.

Her volleyball career included competing on a nationally recognized club team, where she served as team captain for four consecutive years while playing outside hitter and all-around. She has also been a member of her high school basketball program, further developing the leadership, teamwork, and competitive mindset that she brings to every sport.

As Kellan enters her junior year of high school, she has chosen to dedicate her full athletic focus to golf. With the foundation built through years of multi-sport competition, she is excited to devote her time and energy to continued improvement and to pursuing her goal of competing at the collegiate level.

As a member of the Magnificat High School girls golf team, Kellan has contributed to one of Ohio's premier high school golf programs. During her first two varsity seasons, she helped lead the team to the 2024 OHSAA Division I State Championship and a State Runner-Up finish in 2025, competing alongside a talented roster in one of the state's most competitive divisions.

Away from the course, Kellan has demonstrated the same commitment to excellence in the classroom. She attends Magnificat High School in Rocky RIver, OH, a private, all-girls, college preparatory school, where she maintains a 3.9 cumulative GPA while taking an honors-level course load. Her current NCAA Core Course GPA is 3.8, reflecting her dedication to balancing the demands of high-level athletics with rigorous academics.

Kellan takes pride in being a dependable teammate, a dedicated student, and a competitor who is committed to continuous improvement both on the course and in the classroom.
